DDWSF provides nine David & Dovetta Wilson Scholarships annually and distributes umbrella awards to recipients on behalf of families and individuals invested in the support of education and leadership. DDWSF Scholarship Recipients excel academically, engage in civic and religious acts of service, and demonstrate a commitment to use their education to give back to our local, state and national communities.
Annually, DDWSF also awards the Mother Dovetta Leadership Award in recognition of individuals whose achievements and efforts exemplify our commitment to each other, our community, our nation, and the world.
In addition to our awards programming, we also have a growing scholar support program of which we are increasingly proud. Learn about our work supporting Wilson Fund undergraduates through continued financial assistance and encouragement. We recently held a Scholar-led Q&A on the College Experience, as part of our continued endeavor to cultivate community, networking, and the sharing of stories for the benefit of our young people.
